Company Overview
RA Scale AG is an innovative spin-off from ETH Zurich dedicated to developing an AI-powered SaaS platform designed to automate tenders and supplier selection within the construction industry. Based in Zurich, our dynamic team of about 20 professionals is currently expanding its reach into Germany and Austria.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and enhance the cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) for our SaaS platform.
- Plan and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS/GKE).
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, TeamCity, or ArgoCD).
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure system stability.
- Work closely with software engineers and data scientists to optimize performance.
- Take responsibility for the security, scalability, and reliability of production systems.
- Contribute to architecture and design decisions in coordination with the CTO.
Qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in DevOps or cloud engineering (AWS or GCP).
- Strong expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation.
- Experience in building and managing microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker), event-driven architectures, and monitoring tools.
- Programming skills in Python, Bash, or Node.js are advantageous.
- Experience in leading or coordinating small engineering teams is a plus.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure security and cloud governance.
- Proficient in English (working language); German is a plus.
