About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Delivery Manager with expertise in the Insurance sector to enhance our Delivery Management Team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end client projects in close collaboration with our Account Managers and Business Development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete client delivery process from initiation through the entire project lifecycle, ensuring successful project completion in line with EPAM processes.
- Manage client relationships and expectations, representing delivery at project, program, and governance levels.
- Address client issues, identify and manage engagement risks, and ensure client responsibilities are fulfilled.
- Coordinate the preparation of proposals and statements of work.
- Run multiple streams of activities and collaborate with client technical and business teams at various stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Be accountable for all delivery aspects, including financial, sourcing, implementation, and compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with peers, delivery partners, technology consultants, account managers, and solution architects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product owners, architects, engineers, and quality assurance experts to drive estimates, delivery plans, and retrospectives.
- Participate in business development initiatives for both existing clients and potential prospects, continuously identifying new opportunities to grow your associated accounts.
- Lead and represent delivery in sales and presales activities from initial interaction to contracting and beyond, contributing to the growth of our business in the Insurance domain.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in consulting or outsourcing account/delivery/project management, with at least 3 years in the Insurance sector.
- Hands-on experience managing complex projects and client stakeholders at all levels successfully.
- Ability to represent the company at external events effectively.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with the Software Development Life Cycle and various methodologies, particularly agile delivery.
- Experience with different engagement models such as T&M, FP, and Fixed Terms.
- Solid understanding of Software Architecture designs and principles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT Service Management processes, engagement models, and best practices.
- Exceptional organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English and either German or French.
