Role Description
- Support and maintain Viking Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations application, analyzing business requirements, determining feasibility, and making solution recommendations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues raised by Viking Global business teams, which entails reviewing, analyzing, designing, coding, and implementing complex systems or business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly and quarterly Microsoft system upgrades.
- Code, document, and implement project specifications.
- Participate in and assist with application architecture functions.
- Design and develop solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics platform.
- Gather and document business requirements.
- Design, develop, and unit test various solutions.
- Perform data conversions as needed.
- Learn the intricacies of our core products and system integrations.
- Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and communicate commitments clearly.
Key Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in Dynamics AX / D365 F&O Financial Management for modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, and Cash & Banking.
- Understanding of the platform and integration capabilities, along with the ability to utilize Lifecycle Services (LCS) and VST.
- Experience with Visual Studio using X++, IDE AX/D365FO, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.
- Experience developing ETL packages using SSIS.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant Dynamics AX / D365 FO experience.
- Ability to craft the technical vision by mapping requirements to technical solutions, communicated through functional and technical design documents.
- Experience using or consuming Data Entities (OData).
- Cloud-native application development from end to end (Azure).
- Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactive in identifying opportunities for both technical and process improvements.
- A great personality: patient, upbeat, friendly, and professional.
- Experience in building and consuming Data Entities (OData).
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
Nice to Have Qualifications
- Experience with ExFlow and TAS, ISV products integrated into D365.
- Experience with data analysis and Power BI reporting.
- Familiarity with Jira.
- Experience with agile software development techniques.
