Role Description
- Support and maintain Viking Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations application, analyzing business requirements and making solution recommendations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues raised by Viking Global business teams, reviewing, analyzing, designing, coding, and implementing complex systems or business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly and quarterly Microsoft system upgrades.
- Code, document, and implement project specifications.
- Participate in application architecture functions.
- Design and develop solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics platform.
- Gather and document business requirements.
- Design, develop, and unit test various solutions.
- Perform data conversions as necessary.
- Learn the intricacies of our core products and system integrations.
- Effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and communicate commitments.
Key Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in Dynamics AX / D365 F&O Financial Management, including modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, and Cash & Banking.
- Understanding of the platform and integration capabilities, including the use of Lifecycle Services (LCS) and VST.
- Proficiency in Visual Studio using X++, IDE AX/D365FO, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
- Experience in developing ETL packages using SSIS.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant Dynamics AX / D365 FO experience.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into solutions as detailed in functional and technical design documents.
- Experience with Data Entities (OData).
- Cloud Native Development of Applications end to end (Azure).
- Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Capability of identifying opportunities for both technical and process improvements.
- A great personality—patient, upbeat, friendly, and professional.
- Experience in building and consuming Data Entities (OData).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Nice to Have Qualifications
- Experience with ExFlow and TAS, ISV products integrated in D365.
- Familiarity with data analysis and Power BI reporting.
- Proficient in Jira.
- Experience with agile software development techniques.
