The Role
We are in search of a uniquely skilled individual who blends exceptional skiing ability with storytelling, production management, and coaching insight. You will be instrumental in shaping content from concept to final upload and take the lead on shoot days.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow-Cam Filming at Speed: Confidently ski backwards and forwards while filming professional skiers on jumps, rollers, powder lines, and technical piste sections, using stabilized gear.
- Instructional Insight: Shape educational content through your freestyle/freeride or ski instructor experience. The ability to spot and articulate technique on video is essential.
- Script & Post Writing: Craft crisp, engaging scripts and captions for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. Native-level English is required.
- Team Management: Coordinate our 18-person team of ski instructors, coaches, and B-camera operators during content production days, managing locations, timing, and safety on-hill.
- Content Publishing: Schedule and post across platforms, monitor engagement, and adjust content delivery strategy with the support of our editor and social media assistant.
Minimum Requirements
- Exceptional ski ability with experience shooting fast follow-cams with professional skiers.
- Skilled Drone Pilot.
- At least a level 3 ski instructor diploma or 5 years of ski coaching experience.
- Native-level English speaker (written and spoken).
- 1+ year experience managing small creative or athletic teams in dynamic environments.
- Experience writing scripts or educational copy for video/social media.
- Residing near Flims/Laax for the winter 2025 season, with full mountain access.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience working with similar content or familiarity with our video structure and style.
- Experience with mirrorless camera systems, gimbals, and on-slope gear logistics.
- A passion for skiing, powder days, and a dry sense of humor.
