Help shape the future of our financial services clients by integrating sustainability solutions across their business, investment, risk management, and reporting frameworks.

As a Consultant / Senior Consultant in our Sustainability team, you will play a crucial role in assisting banks, insurers, asset managers, and other financial institutions in addressing key challenges and navigating the complex landscape of sustainable finance regulations. Your expertise will help our clients incorporate sustainability in their daily operations across various perspectives including distribution, investment, risk management, underwriting, and reporting. Additionally, you will contribute to Deloitte's growth in the sustainable finance market through innovative and customized go-to-market initiatives.

You Will Make An Impact By:

• Strategically guiding clients in implementing key regulatory requirements for sustainable finance (e.g., SFDR, AMAS self-regulations, FINMA requirements) and integrating sustainability into their investment processes and risk management activities.
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop methodologies that integrate sustainability risks with traditional financial risks, with a focus on climate and nature risks.
• Conducting research on various sustainability topics and trends relevant to banks, asset managers, and investment firms.
• Increasing quality and transparency through assurance on related engagements in sustainable finance.
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including clients and senior management, to translate complex concepts into actionable business decisions.
• Actively contributing to the firm’s sustainable finance offerings and business development initiatives.

Who We Are Looking For

• You have a passion for financial services and sustainability, and are eager to assist financial institutions in aligning their strategies with sustainability goals.
• You possess a Master’s Degree in economics, management, finance, sustainable finance, or related fields.
• You have subject matter expertise in sustainable finance with at least 2 years of practical experience.
• You are knowledgeable about key sustainable finance regulations (e.g., SFDR, FINMA circular on nature-related financial risks) and can support the technical aspects of these requirements.
• You are familiar with typical banking and investment processes; experience in risk management and modeling is an advantage.
• You have strong written and oral communication skills in both English and German, enabling you to convey complex topics clearly.
