Our Swiss market-leading Deal Transformation and Post-Merger Integration Team advises corporate and mid-market clients in Switzerland to generate and create value from their mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, and carve-outs. With a dedicated team of experts, we deliver integration and separation advisory services, lead complex engagements, and deploy deep functional expertise in finance, human resources, commercial, supply chain, and technology. At Deloitte, we support our clients with end-to-end M&A advisory, working closely with colleagues from transaction services, valuations, and corporate finance. As part of the Strategy, Risk, and Transactions Business Line, we further collaborate with our Strategy, Sustainability, Regulatory, and Forensic Technology peers to ensure a seamless and value-driven approach to transactions.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Integration and Separation Projects Delivery: Utilize a forward-looking approach and tailored methodologies in client situations to deliver complex M&A separations and integrations.
  • M&A Value Creation: Conduct operational and financial analysis to support the assessment of merger synergies, the complexities of carve-outs, and standalone performance improvement potential of buyouts and corporate divestments.
  • Exceptional Client Service: Advise clients across Deloitte's offerings, build and maintain strong relationships, and ensure the engagement teams deliver exceptional client service while adhering to quality and robust methodology.
  • Project Scope and Delivery: Define, plan, resource, and execute project scope; manage expectations and timelines with clients, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Team Development: Foster a collaborative and innovative working environment that encourages excellence in project execution.
  • Analytical and AI Solutions: Provide strategic insights and advice while deploying advanced analytical and AI solutions.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset and self-starter attitude, highly motivated to lead and grow, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and evolving priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities focused on strategic decision-making and attention to detail, alongside a proven ability to simplify complex concepts and create executive-level narratives.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top-tier university with exceptional academic achievements.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant M&A experience in consulting or industry roles, with exposure to one of the main Swiss industries, such as financial services, life sciences, consumer, or industrials.
  • Strong skills in project and stakeholder management; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and executive storytelling.
  • Aptitude for AI technologies and a keen interest in embedding AI solutions into our offerings to enhance client outcomes and drive innovation.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent interpersonal skills and experience working within an international community. Proficiency in German or French is desirable.
