Are you passionate about shaping the future of supply chains? Ready to dive into cutting-edge technology and make a real difference for global clients?
We are looking for a Senior Consultant to strengthen our Life Sciences Supply Chain & Network Operations team. The role focuses on improving pharmaceutical, biotech, and medtech manufacturing and supply operations, and on designing and implementing digital and AI-enabled solutions across the value chain.
How You Can Make an Impact
- Project delivery: Map and analyze end-to-end processes across manufacturing and supply operations, identify pain points and improvement levers, support the design and implementation of digital and data solutions, contribute to AI- and analytics-enabled use cases, assess technology landscape and vendor capabilities, and translate complex operational and technical topics into clear management-ready value presentations and recommendations.
- Prepare and facilitate client workshops, interviews, and working sessions with stakeholders from manufacturing, quality, supply chain, finance, and IT/digital; build strong working relationships with client counterparts at operational and middle-management levels.
- Contribute to practice and business development including proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations on manufacturing, digital operations, and resiliency topics; support the development of offerings and methodologies; help develop thought leadership (articles, conference materials, internal eminence) on emerging trends in life sciences operations and digital/AI.
- Independently manage workstreams or smaller projects, as well as the work of offshore team members.
- Contribute to an inclusive, high-performing team culture.
What to Expect
- Opportunity to work with leading pharmaceutical, biotech, and medtech companies on their most critical supply chain and network strategy challenges.
- Exposure to cutting-edge topics including supply chain digital transformation, advanced therapies, and resilience strategies.
- A collaborative, high-performance consulting environment with clear career progression opportunities.
- A vibrant, supportive team that is well-connected across EMEA and globally.
- Exposure to end-to-end supply chain transformation projects—from strategy and design to hands-on implementation.
- Access to extensive internal and external training programs to boost your skills and career.
- The freedom to explore and develop your own ideas through research, PoVs, or client projects—your growth is in your hands.
- Career progression opportunities aligned with your ambitions and interests.
- A supportive environment where your input is heard, your ideas are valued, and your growth is encouraged.
Who We Are Looking For
- Master's degree in engineering, life sciences, pharmacy, data science, operations research, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in pharma/biotech/medtech supply chain or manufacturing operations, or in management consulting with a clear focus on these areas.
- Demonstrable responsibility for project/workstream delivery.
- Solid understanding of GMP/GxP environments and core pharma operations concepts such as manufacturing processes, QA/QC, batch release, tech transfer, and external manufacturing.
- Exposure to digital and data topics in operations, and supply/shop floor/Quality systems.
- Understanding of data platforms, data integration, or reporting/visualization solutions.
- Professional fluency in English; proficiency in German and/or French is an advantage.
Desired Additional Skills and Profile
- Demonstrated interest or practical exposure to AI/advanced analytics applied to operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Structured thinking and the ability to develop clear, compelling, and actionable messages for senior stakeholders.
- Confident communicator, able to facilitate discussions in cross-functional and cross-cultural settings.
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland and abroad as required by projects.
