Join our Tax Team, where we provide integrated tax services that empower our clients to navigate local and global challenges with confidence. Are you eager to advise discerning clients on diverse tax regulatory regimes?

As a Senior Consultant, you will be an integral part of our Financial Services Tax (FSI) team, playing a pivotal role in supporting tax regulatory advisory and compliance projects for Swiss and international banks, insurance companies, trust companies, and asset managers.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Embrace the opportunity to engage with clients on cross-divisional projects across various industries from day one.
  • Deepen your expertise in tax aspects pertinent to the financial services industry, including:
    • Client tax reporting regimes such as the US FATCA, OECD Automatic Exchange of Information (CRS), and Crypto Assets Reporting Framework (CARF).
    • EU Directives including DAC6, DAC8, and FASTER.
    • Transaction-related taxes such as Swiss Stamp Duty and European FTTs.
    • Withholding taxes on financial income, including Qualified Intermediary rules, Swiss and foreign withholding tax, and related refund procedures.
    • Taxation of financial products under Swiss and foreign tax rules, including special regimes like §871(m) or §1446.
  • Collaborate directly with senior team members on regulatory research, client presentations, and proposals. Participate in client meetings and support clients with ad-hoc regulatory reviews and audits or short-term assignments.
  • Work in an internationally diverse team, collaborating with colleagues from around the globe.
  • Take charge of your career with a defined long-term career path and access to internal and external professional training opportunities for your development.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Master's degree in business administration, economics, or law, ideally with tax knowledge.
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in the mentioned areas, preferably gained in a Big Four firm or in-house at a bank.
  • Participation in QI, FATCA, and CRS (periodic) reviews.
  • A comprehensive understanding of QI, FATCA, and CRS reporting requirements; direct experience in the reporting cycle is a plus.
  • Experience in QI, FATCA, and CRS advisory projects requiring research and drafting of responses.
  • Familiarity with Swiss corporate tax and/or AML/KYC is advantageous.
  • A positive and pragmatic attitude with a readiness to take on responsibility.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and service-minded approach.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work with a collaborative spirit and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • An interest in exploring complex questions with a curiosity that aligns with our core values: being curious and bold, respectful and integrative.
  • A keen desire for personal and professional development.
  • Fluency in both French and English; Italian is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
