Help our clients successfully manage global challenges

As a Senior Consultant in the Global Employer Services (GES) team, you will provide multinational companies with targeted advice and strategies for managing Global Mobility programs efficiently. Our team supports clients with the end-to-end management of global compensation for internationally mobile employees and optimizes tax compliance and positions. As part of the US Tax team, you will advise on US tax returns and compliance topics.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Coordinate our global tax compliance services, including direct communication with clients and Deloitte offices worldwide.
• Prepare and review US individual income tax returns for US resident and nonresident taxpayers, including various forms specific to US residents with activities outside of the United States.
• Prepare and review tax reconciliations and tax equalization calculations, along with other tasks related to the successful management of Global Mobility programs for our clients.
• Oversee the completion of tasks and maintain the quality of work done by junior members of the team.
• Interpret and implement International Assignment Policies, ensuring consistent global tax treatment of various assignment compensation items and allowances.
• Advise clients on the tax and social security implications of various global employment issues, including tax residency and the taxation of complex compensation such as severance payments and incentive income.

Who We Are Looking For

• You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Accountancy, or Law.
• Ideally, you have 3+ years of US tax experience/knowledge and either hold, are pursuing, or will pursue the relevant qualification (e.g., EA, CPA, etc.).
• Experience in global mobility or with a Big 4 firm is a plus.
• You are curious to find answers, take initiative, and enjoy taking on responsibility while working in project teams with a systematic approach.
• You communicate fluently in English; additional languages would be an advantage.
