Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of cloud technology. You will work at the forefront of innovation and undertake diverse, impactful tasks that make a real difference:

• Design, implement, and operate cloud infrastructures on Microsoft Azure and our private cloud in adherence to best practices.
• Conceptualize, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters (AKS and self-managed).
• Ensure the security of the cloud platform through policies, compliance checks, encryption, and secure workload isolation.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to establish best practices for cloud and container technologies.
• Share responsibility for our Azure DevOps organizations and manage the administration of our Azure DevOps projects.
• Provide qualified 2nd and 3rd level support and take on the role of engineering on-call support.
• Train development teams and members of the cloud platform team.

Your Profile

• You hold a degree in computer science or have proven experience in a comparable role.
• You demonstrate initiative, love innovation and improvements, and can independently drive topics while also working successfully in a team.
• You possess practical experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Azure (4+ years) and have a solid understanding of Azure networking concepts.
• You have hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (implementation, design, orchestration) and can automate tasks using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
• You are experienced in managing Kubernetes platforms and have a good understanding of distributed systems and microservices.
• You are adept at troubleshooting complex issues at all levels, including networks, operating systems, Kubernetes, and middleware.
• You communicate clearly and possess excellent language skills in German or French along with good proficiency in English.
