We are currently collaborating with a client based in Lichfield who is eager to appoint a Senior Buyer to join their close-knit procurement team during an exciting period of growth. Role Overview

As a vital member of a small but growing procurement function, you will take ownership of day-to-day procurement activities, encompassing both operational and strategic procurement. Your contributions will be essential in supplier management, risk mitigation, and managing spend across both existing and new programs.

This isn't your typical Senior Buyer role; it offers a dynamic and varied experience. We are seeking someone who is comfortable transitioning between operational purchasing and strategic procurement activities. Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience in a direct procurement environment.
• Confidence in reading and interpreting technical and engineering drawings.
• A proactive and hands-on approach to procurement.
• A keen enjoyment of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Compensation and Work Schedule

The package includes a competitive salary of approximately £45,000 - £50,000 plus benefits. The role is Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with a requirement for 5 days per week on-site in Lichfield.
