Our Tax Team offers integrated tax services that help our clients successfully manage local and global challenges. Are you ready to advise discerning clients on various tax regulatory regimes?

As a Senior Consultant, you will be integral to our Financial Services Tax (FSI) team, supporting specialists in tax regulatory advisory and compliance projects for Swiss and international banks, insurance and trust companies, as well as asset managers.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Engage in client-facing functions for cross-divisional projects across diverse industries from day one.
  • Enhance your knowledge of tax aspects relevant to the financial services industry, including:
    • Client tax reporting regimes such as the US FATCA, the OECD Automatic Exchange of Information (CRS), and Crypto Assets Reporting Framework (CARF).
    • EU Directives such as DAC6, DAC8, and FASTER.
    • Transaction-related taxes including Swiss Stamp Duty and European FTTs.
    • Withholding taxes on financial income, including Qualified Intermediary rules, Swiss and foreign withholding tax, and related refund procedures.
    • Taxation of financial products under both Swiss and foreign tax rules, including special regimes like §871(m) or §1446.
  • Work closely with senior team members on regulatory research, client presentations, and proposals. Participate in client meetings and support ad-hoc regulatory reviews, audits, or short-term assignments.
  • Collaborate as part of a cross-divisional and international team, connecting with colleagues from around the world.
  • Take charge of your career with a clear, long-term path and avail yourself of internal and external professional training opportunities geared toward your development.

Who We Are Looking For

  • You possess a Master's degree in business administration, economics, or law, ideally with tax knowledge.
  • You have 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in the areas mentioned, preferably gained in a Big Four firm or in-house at a bank.
  • You are engaged in QI, FATCA, and CRS (periodic) reviews and have knowledge of the reporting requirements; direct experience in the reporting cycle would be an asset.
  • You have contributed to QI, FATCA, and CRS advisory projects requiring research and drafting of responses, either in a Big Four setting or in-house.
  • Additional experience in Swiss corporate tax and/or AML/KYC would be advantageous.
  • You exhibit a positive and pragmatic attitude, taking responsibility and demonstrating a proactive, detail-oriented, and service-minded approach.
  • You are dedicated to delivering high-quality work and possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • You have the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • You exhibit a curiosity-driven and bold mindset, with respect for others and an integrative approach.
  • You are eager to learn and develop, enjoying the broader context of your work while acting independently, efficiently, and with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • You are fluent in French and English, with Italian being an additional advantage.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
