What You'll Be Doing

• Take technical ownership of a production Android application
• Drive architectural and engineering improvements across the platform
• Reduce technical debt through practical, incremental modernization
• Enhance build, testing, release, and deployment processes
• Lead technical initiatives without relying on large-scale rewrites
• Support and mentor developers through pairing, coaching, and code reviews
• Advance modern engineering practices that enable frequent, reliable releases
• Collaborate closely with product, backend, and platform teams
• Help cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence

Your Technical Background

Strong expertise in:

• Kotlin
• Jetpack Compose
• Traditional Android Views
• Coroutines & Flow
• Modern Android Architecture
• Dependency Injection
• Gradle build configuration and optimization
• Android lifecycle management and platform APIs
• Unit, Integration, and UI Testing

Proven experience with:

• Google Play Console and release management
• Mobile CI/CD pipelines
• Automated build, test, and quality validation
• Crash analysis and application performance optimization
• Feature flags and progressive delivery approaches
• Versioning, rollback, hotfix, and release strategies
• Incremental refactoring of legacy Android codebases
• Trunk-based development and continuous integration
