Position Overview
- This position will monitor and execute day-to-day operations to support the strategy of the Data Operations function across various franchises and business units.
- Lead small projects and develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate to complex nature, while adhering to established policies and procedures.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Monitor and execute the data operations and data quality processes, which may include coordination of testing, error handling, data conversion and validation, and audit/compliance actions (including Non-Conformance (NC) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)).
- Provide tactical direction to third-party teams and function as the first level of escalation.
- Focus on continuous improvement of existing data designs, processes, and templates to enhance business outcomes.
- Implement and monitor tools and processes that maximize data operations execution, engaging with stakeholders on tactical matters.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert/Data Governance Lead for workstreams or functional areas, offering guidance on data operations.
- Prepare metrics, dashboards, and tracking to facilitate the efficient operations of the Data Operations department.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation for the area of responsibility, which may include Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and data quality catalogs.
- Support the deployment of the Data Management Framework (Governance Maturity Roadmap).
Qualifications & Experience
- Supply chain experience, preferably in master data, operations, or cross-functional business environments.
- A minimum of 3 years of data management experience with large ERP platforms.
- Business and technical knowledge of all Supply Chain data elements, processes, and organizational support models.
- A relevant mix of global, regional, and cross-sector/industry experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Strong written, oral, and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
- Ability to build strong collaborative relationships and influence multiple stakeholders toward common goals without sacrificing outcomes.
- Aptitude for working in a diverse, multicultural, and partially remote team.
- Capable of functioning in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist.
