Summary
We are looking for a Senior Analysis Engineer to lead the analysis activities for our critical sub-systems product lines. You will act as the technical reference for the discipline within the project team, train and review the work of others under your technical supervision, and drive innovation in analysis methods. You will not only be performing complex technical tasks but will also take ownership from a technical standpoint of a section of the discipline, supporting the lead engineer in improving the efficiency and performance of the analysis group.
Your Mission
- Conducts and leads highly complex tasks without supervision and establishes sustainable solutions to prevent the recurrence of issues:
- Defines analysis approaches to investigate mechanical design problems or verify solutions.
- Establishes and reviews analysis methods and creates mathematical models for static and dynamic FE analysis.
- Guides and coaches the team under their technical supervision (3 to 4 team members).
- Performs test predictions, evaluations, and correlations.
- Conducts detailed stress and strength verification analysis.
- Leads the analysis activities for a product family/portfolio during product development, production support, innovation, and projects. Acts as the local technical authority in their field and is the first level of escalations with strong practical experience. Proposes market-oriented initiatives to improve existing products, technologies, and production processes.
- Proactively communicates and aligns cross-functionally with adjacent engineering fields and departments outside engineering such as operations, quality, procurement, and other disciplines.
- Supports processes and product continuous improvements to deliver in line with customer quality, cost, and demand. Proposes market-oriented initiatives to enhance existing products, technologies, and production processes.
- Writes and reviews technical documentation (e.g., test plans, analysis reports, project-related deliverables) and other specifications related to their field of work, adapting to product- and mission-specific requirements.
- Serves as Work Package / Task Manager: owns technical, budget, and schedule responsibilities for fulfilling tasks assigned by projects. Handles multiple tasks and coordinates the work of others within the discipline while setting priorities.
- Participates in Non-Conformance Review Boards (NRBs) according to the NC process. Actively proposes technical solutions in their field of activity and secures measures for root cause analyses, corrective and preventive measures, implementing lessons learned.
- Represents their engineering field during negotiations and reviews with customers and suppliers or subcontractors.
- Collaborates with the bidding team for proposals, quotations, concept work, and interdisciplinary collaboration in make-or-buy decisions (assessing schedule and cost estimates as well as technical roadmaps).
- Builds and maintains relevant contacts with external stakeholders.
- Responsible for the coaching and skill enhancement of their scope of activity within the discipline. Identifies, manages, and maintains associated competences. Leads training initiatives and develops learning materials. Coaches less experienced engineers and external employees, reviewing their work and ensuring standardization within their field of activity.

- Detailed stress analysis.
- Proven expertise in static/dynamic/non-linear analysis, hand calculations, fatigue and damage tolerance (ESACRACK & Nasgro), shock, and analysis of metallic, composites, and sandwich structures.
- Proficient with the following solvers: NASTRAN, OptiStruct, and ABAQUS.
- Experience in test prediction and correlation of structures and components, both static and dynamic.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in the analysis of payload fairing and other launchers or satellite structures.
