The Senior Administrative Assistant will independently provide a wide array of administrative services in both local and global contexts. You will ensure that service levels align with site requirements, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills, self-direction, and proactive teamwork. Excellent communication skills are essential for promoting continuous improvements in processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Acting as a Business Partner to Basel-based TCO-LT members by providing support in areas such as calendar management, complex business travel, meeting preparation, expense reporting, budget tracking/planning, and other administrative processes.
  • Assisting with employee onboarding and offboarding within the team.
  • Interacting with and advising TCO and associates from outside the team on specific departmental processes, guidelines, and services.
  • Optimizing current processes and introducing new or modified procedures for your area of responsibility.
  • Managing administrative projects within defined content and time constraints while contributing to team-based administrative projects.
  • Supporting or leading projects, workstreams, and activities within TCO or the TCO Program Management and Portfolio group.
  • Ensuring a smooth transition for new employees in your area of responsibility and supervising colleagues in administrative roles.
  • Planning and coordinating administrative procedures and systems, seeking ways to streamline operations.
  • Attending monthly TCO Global admin meetings and partnering with other TCO Administrative Assistants for daily operations and backup support.
  • Actively participating in the global BR Oncology Admin Community and the BR Administrative Partner community.

Essential Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across boundaries.
  • Cross-cultural experience.
  • Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.

Education

  • Advanced degree or equivalent qualifications in commercial training (e.g., Swiss Association of Commercial Employees or similar).
