As a Senior Actuary in our team, you will be instrumental in delivering actuarial reserving analyses and reports that cater to both legal and management perspectives. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, including those in the Group Actuarial team, while contributing to the overall reserving outlook and performance insights.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver quarterly reserving analyses and projections across key portfolios and reporting perspectives.
  • Provide expert reserving insights for Pre-Close and Final Close reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Lead or contribute to IFRS 17 reserving calculations and planning activities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within Group Reinsurance and with Group Actuarial to ensure seamless reporting and clear communication of results.
  • Enhance and automate reporting processes, ensuring compliance with Zurich's actuarial policies and regulatory standards.

What You Bring

  • Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of actuarial experience, ideally with exposure to reserving or reinsurance.
  • Full actuarial qualification, or active pursuit of one.
  • Proficiency in programming with SQL, VBA, R, and PowerBI; experience in reserving application development and design is a plus.
  • Structured, independent working style with strong communication skills and fluency in English.

Additional Information

  • Full-time and part-time: 80 - 100%
  • Work location: Zurich, Mythenquai
  • Hybrid work: up to 40% possible
