Job Opportunity: Senior Accountant

Role Mission

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing all general accounting operations for FKG Dentaire, ensuring the reliability of the company's accounts and compliance with accounting and tax legislation through to the balance sheet.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping (in multiple currencies) in accordance with accounting, tax, and social rules; input of accounting documents until the presentation of balance sheets and other legal declarations.
  • Management of cash flow and forecasting.
  • Accounting for banks and follow-up of customer balances.
  • Closing of accounts and reconciliation of the balance sheet.
  • Preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns (IA, VAT, Taxes, etc.).
  • Management of fixed assets and investments.
  • Preparation of statutory accounts.
  • Preparation for internal and external audits.
  • Maintenance of internal financial controls.
  • Continuous improvement projects.
  • Payroll reconciliation and processing payroll payouts when needed.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in a similar position within an industrial environment.
  • Auditing experience is a plus.
  • Very good knowledge of Swiss & US GAAP.
  • Strong knowledge of an ERP system (experience with Microsoft Business Central is an asset) and Excel.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Rigor, reliability, and strong team spirit.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong proposal and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
