Senior Accountant
Role Mission
In this role, you will manage all general accounting operations up to the balance sheet for FKG Dentaire, ensuring the reliability of the company's accounts and adherence to accounting and tax legislation.
Your Responsibilities:
- Handle bookkeeping in multiple currencies following accounting, tax, and social regulations, leading up to the presentation of balance sheets and other legal declarations.
- Manage cash flow and perform forecasting.
- Account for banks and monitor customer balances.
- Close accounts and reconcile the balance sheet.
- Prepare quarterly and annual tax returns (IA, VAT, Taxes, etc.).
- Manage fixed assets and investments.
- Prepare statutory accounts.
- Assist in internal and external audits.
- Maintain internal financial controls.
- Engage in continuous improvement projects.
- Reconcile payroll and, when necessary, process payroll payouts.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance or accounting.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in a similar position, preferably in an industrial environment.
- Auditing experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Swiss and US GAAP.
- Proficient in ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central is an asset) and Excel.
- Fluency in English.
- Exhibit discretion and confidentiality.
- Show rigor, reliability, and team spirit.
- Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong proposal and problem-solving abilities.
- Have outstanding analytical and synthesis skills.
