Position: Senior Accountant

Role Mission

In our company, the Senior Accountant will execute all general accounting operations up to the balance sheet, ensuring the reliability of our accounts and compliance with accounting rules and tax legislation.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping (in multiple currencies) in accordance with accounting, tax, and social rules, inputting accounting documents until the presentation of balance sheets and other legal declarations.
  • Management of cash flow and financial forecasting.
  • Accounting for banks and monitoring customer balances.
  • Closing accounts and reconciling the balance sheet.
  • Preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns (IA, VAT, Taxes, etc.).
  • Management of fixed assets and investments.
  • Preparation of statutory accounts.
  • Preparation for internal and external audits.
  • Maintenance of internal financial controls.
  • Continuous improvement projects.
  • Payroll reconciliation and processing payroll payouts when necessary.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar position within an industrial environment.
  • Auditing experience is a plus.
  • Very good knowledge of Swiss & US GAAP.
  • Strong knowledge of an ERP system (Microsoft Business Central is an asset) and Excel.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Sense of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Rigor, reliability, and team spirit.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong proposal and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
