Job Description

My client is seeking a dynamic, German-speaking Senior Accountant with expertise in Swiss GAAP, VAT, and tax reporting. This pivotal finance role is within a vibrant Swiss-based SME that boasts an international perspective and a start-up ambiance.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• Lead month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
• Manage Swiss VAT, tax filings, and year-end audit preparation
• Oversee inventory accounting, margins, rebates, and customer/supplier refunds
• Support contract accounting and ensure accurate multi-year postings

Experience:

• 5+ years of Swiss accounting experience
• Fluent in German (Swiss German is a big plus)
• Strong VAT knowledge and monthly close exposure
