Job Description
Join a dynamic, Swiss-based SME with a global outlook and start-up culture as a hands-on, German-speaking Senior Accountant. This key finance role requires strong Swiss GAAP, VAT, and tax reporting experience.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
- Lead month-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
- Manage Swiss VAT, tax filings, and preparation for year-end audits.
- Oversee inventory accounting, margins, rebates, and customer/supplier refunds.
- Support contract accounting and ensure accurate multi-year postings.
Experience:
- 5+ years of Swiss accounting experience.
- Fluent in German (Swiss German is a significant advantage).
- Strong knowledge of VAT and experience with month-end close processes.
