Job Description

Our client is seeking a hands-on, German-speaking Senior Accountant with substantial experience in Swiss GAAP, VAT, and tax reporting. This is a vital finance role within a dynamic, Swiss-based SME that boasts an international outlook and a start-up ambiance.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• Lead month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
• Manage Swiss VAT, tax filings, and year-end audit preparation
• Oversee inventory accounting, margins, rebates, and customer/supplier refunds
• Support contract accounting and ensure accurate multi-year postings

Experience:

• 5+ years of Swiss accounting experience
• Fluent German speaker (Swiss German is a big plus)
• Strong VAT knowledge and monthly close exposure
