Job Description
Our client is seeking a proactive, German-speaking Senior Accountant with a solid background in Swiss GAAP, VAT, and tax reporting. This pivotal finance role is situated within a dynamic, Swiss-based SME that exhibits an international outlook and a start-up atmosphere.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
- Lead month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
- Manage Swiss VAT, tax filings, and year-end audit preparation.
- Oversee inventory accounting, margins, rebates, and customer/supplier refunds.
- Support contract accounting and ensure accurate multi-year postings.
Experience:
- 5+ years of Swiss accounting experience.
- Fluent in German (Swiss German is a significant advantage).
- Strong VAT knowledge and experience with monthly close processes.
