Job Description

Our client is seeking a hands-on, German-speaking Senior Accountant with extensive experience in Swiss GAAP, VAT, and tax reporting. This position plays a crucial role in the finance department of a dynamic Swiss-based SME that boasts an international outlook and a start-up feel.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• Lead month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
• Manage Swiss VAT, tax filings, and year-end audit preparation.
• Oversee inventory accounting, margins, rebates, and customer/supplier refunds.
• Support contract accounting and ensure accurate multi-year postings.

Experience:

• 5+ years of Swiss accounting experience.
• Fluent in German (Swiss German is a significant advantage).
• Strong knowledge of VAT and exposure to monthly close processes.
