Security Operations Engineer / Engineeress DevSecOps

cyberunity 5405 Aargau October 2, 2026

KNOW YOUR TALENTS

Your future employer is an established Swiss software manufacturer. Our control systems ensure that critical infrastructure operates reliably around the clock, and when these systems fail, many people notice immediately. Development takes place in Switzerland, within a well-coordinated team that values short communication paths and personal responsibility. Our products undergo maintenance and further development over many years, prioritizing reliability over quick releases. With NIS2 and the Cyber Resilience Act, software security takes center stage, and you will have the opportunity to shape this crucial area from the very beginning.

Job Opportunity: Security Operations Engineer DevSecOps (m/f) 80 - 100%

Do you aspire to not just be part of the whole but to actively influence and shape it? If so, we look forward to meeting you!

My Challenges

  • Design, analyze, and consistently develop the security architecture of our software products according to the principle of Security-by-Design.
  • Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines automatically, including SAST, DAST, dependency and container scanning, and mandatory secure coding guidelines.
  • Manage vulnerability management and incident detection and response, while strategically expanding the security toolchain.
  • Plan and conduct security assessments, architectural risk analyses, and audits, with a focus on ISO/IEC 27001, NIS2, and the Cyber Resilience Act.
  • Advise development and specialist departments, develop policies and standards, and conduct training and awareness measures.

My Competencies

  • Completed degree in computer science (FH/HF), ideally with a focus on software engineering or cyber security, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in software development with a clear progression towards security architecture and secure software development.
  • Proficient in modern architectural principles, secure coding practices, and threat modeling methods such as STRIDE.
  • Practical experience with DevSecOps tools and their integration into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of NIS2, Cyber Resilience Act, BSI standards, and IT basic protection.
  • Very good German and English skills.
  • Advantageous: Know-how in OT and IoT security as well as experience with SOC concepts.

My Advantages

  • Work with a noticeable impact by protecting systems that many people rely on in everyday life.
  • Enjoy great scope for design: your own ideas will flow directly into the products, as security is built here, not just managed.
  • Flexible workload options available in both full and part-time, with the workplace located in Aargau.
  • Receive targeted support for professional development.
  • Experience an open, collegial culture with international contacts and joint team events.
