Who You Are
If you thrive at the intersection of biology, nanotechnology, and electrochemistry, and if you identify with one or more of the following profiles, we want to meet you:
- Aptamer Scientist: Expertise in nucleic acid chemistry, aptamer engineering, and bioconjugation, with experience in SELEX, aptamer selection, structural modification, and nucleic acid folding dynamics. Familiarity with DNA nanotechnology and functional nucleic acid architectures is highly desirable.
- Analytical Chemist: Strong background in electrochemical biosensing techniques such as impedance spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. Experience in interface chemistry and surface passivation, as well as the development of high-sensitivity sensor platforms, is essential.
- Microfluidics Scientist: Skills in developing acoustofluidic and epidermal microfluidic platforms, coupled with a robust understanding of fluid mechanics and interfacial physics.
- Photochemist: Expertise in synthetic photochemistry and light-controlled molecular systems, including proficiency in computational modeling to guide experimental design.
Bonus Skills
- Understanding of sweat gland physiology or interstitial fluid transport.
- Knowledge of biocompatibility and flexible device mechanics.
- Experience in human testing or clinical collaborations.
- Development of wearable sweat biosensing systems during your PhD or postdoc is a plus.
- Possession of a Swiss/EU/EFTA citizenship or a lucrative B permit in Switzerland.
