Exciting Internship Opportunity: Scientific Intern and Lab Support

As a Scientific Intern and Lab Support at CDR-Life, you will actively contribute to both research initiatives and laboratory operations by performing a variety of technical and administrative tasks that ensure smooth and efficient lab workflows. Role Overview
The role is ideal for someone with a service-oriented mindset, a proactive attitude, and the flexibility to adapt to evolving project needs. The proposed starting date of the internship is April 2026 or upon agreement.
Key Responsibilities
Scientific
- Receive a comprehensive introduction to our core scientific teams, including Discovery, Developability, Pharmacology, Upstream & Downstream Processing, Drug Substance, and Analytics.
- Support research and development activities within these groups through short- to mid-term rotations (several weeks to months per group).
- Progressively develop skills and independence across various process steps, ultimately contributing to a semi-independent project under the guidance of experienced scientists.
Lab Support
- Assist with routine laboratory maintenance, including cleaning glassware and operating autoclaves to ensure a sterile and organized work environment.
- Prepare standard solutions (e.g., buffers, media, etc.) according to established procedures.
- Manage incoming parcels and deliveries, ensuring proper handling and storage of lab materials and reagents.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing one) in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Initial hands-on experience in a laboratory setting, whether through coursework, internships, or academic projects.
- Familiarity with standard laboratory techniques, including pipetting, aseptic techniques, and proper scientific documentation.
- Strong interest in a diverse, cross-functional internship experience, with exposure to multiple scientific teams rather than a narrow specialization.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn, with the ability to quickly grasp new concepts and workflows.
- Reliable, proactive, and positive work ethic; even when performing routine or repetitive tasks such as autoclaving or glassware cleaning.
