The research group led by Professor Valentina Boeva at ETH Zurich is seeking a dedicated Scientific Affairs Manager with a strong scientific background. Ideally, the candidate will have experience collaborating with biological or clinical labs, as well as groups specializing in machine learning. The position's starting date is flexible and can be agreed upon mutually. A pronounced interest in working within an interdisciplinary environment at the intersection of machine learning, biology, and medicine is expected.
We offer a one-year contract with the potential for transition into a permanent position.
In this role, you will assist research leadership with strategic and operational tasks in a scientific context. Responsibilities include coordinating and overseeing scientific projects, particularly in the field of cancer genomics, and acting as the central point of contact for clinical and biological partners regarding data management, ethics, and legal frameworks. You will also contribute to project proposals, reports, scientific publications, and manage the lab's website and social media. Additionally, organizing and supporting internal and external meetings, workshops, and events will be part of your duties, as well as serving as an interface between research and administration.
