YOUR PROFILE

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality nursing care and promoting health among students? At Collège Beau Soleil, we are dedicated to offering outstanding health services to our students. As a School Nurse, you will play an essential role in ensuring the well-being of our students by providing clinically effective nursing care and implementing proactive health promotion initiatives.

Collaboration is key in this role, necessitating effective communication with parents, caregivers, and other school services to monitor students' health. Attention to procedures and details is crucial.

We offer an 80% contract and are seeking a nurse willing to work flexible hours from Monday to Sunday, between 8 am and 10 pm, depending on the season and the needs of our activities. With approximately 50 days of holiday per year, you'll maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Fluency in both French and English, combined with at least three years of nursing experience, is essential. Join us in fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere where every student can thrive.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide first aid and medical care to students in accordance with school policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other departments to develop and implement individualized care plans for students with chronic/acute conditions or special medical needs.
• Contribute actively to health promotion by planning, delivering, and supporting the school's Welfare program.
• Facilitate effective communication between all parties involved in caregiving to ensure timely and appropriate care for students.
• Maintain the medical room, medical facilities, defibrillator, and first aid kits to meet the school's requirements.
• Record all dispensed treatments and supplies used accurately.
• Continuously enhance your professional knowledge and competencies, keeping abreast of clinical and nursing issues relevant to school health.

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• HES Diploma in Nursing or equivalent recognized by the Swiss Government.
• Fluency in French & English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Proficiency in information tools and technologies (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse.
• Experience in a school environment is a plus but not required.
