Purpose of Role

This is a senior role responsible for attracting and driving student enrolments to meet ambitious targets, building relationships with prospective families, and collaborating with all stakeholders involved in the admissions process. The role will oversee lead conversion (generated by our marketing team) to enrolment. This position is ideal for a natural leader who is performance-driven and comfortable utilizing data strategically. The Head of Admissions reports solidly to the Head of the school while also having a functional reporting line to the Regional Head of Admissions and is a key member of the School Senior Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Enrolment Management:
    • Advise prospective parents & stakeholders on our value proposition (profile, programme, fee structure, and all services provided) across all sales channels.
    • Implement the school's admissions process, nurturing the sales funnel at all stages to ensure the best journey for families and excellent customer service.
    • Conduct appropriate follow-ups with potential leads to warm prospective sales and facilitate their conversion into new enrolments.
    • Create, organize, and deploy innovative open days and recruitment events (both virtual and in-person) while ensuring exceptional customer experience.
    • Support the assessment of prospective students according to the admissions policy.
    • Implement all policies and documentation related to student admissions, including toolkits and scholarship programmes, in alignment with ISP guidelines.
    • Monitor and develop lead generation activities in collaboration with ISP Heads of Marketing and Admissions to meet targets.
    • Collaborate with the Head of School and SLT to develop appropriate programmes and campaigns such as referral schemes and scholarships.
    • Review and enhance admissions documents, communication platforms, and marketing materials to ensure accuracy and best practices.
    • Ensure adherence to ISP customer service standards and conduct training sessions for admissions team staff.
  • Networking & Building Relationships:
    • Develop and nurture beneficial relationships with feeder schools, nurseries, universities, local businesses, government entities, education agents, and other organizations to maximize student recruitment and retention.
    • Assist the Head of School in participating in relevant national and regional conferences and events to raise the school's profile.
    • Work closely with parent-facing administrative staff to ensure excellent coordination among all involved parties, leading to positive visitor experiences.
    • Provide ongoing support and communication to new families after students enrol at the school, focusing on 'after-sales care.'
  • Enrolment Targets & Data Management:
    • Collaborate with the school leadership team to establish recruitment and retention targets through data analysis.
    • Prepare comprehensive reports based on data analysis, proposing recommendations for adjustments to recruitment tactics and operational efficiency.
    • Maintain the CRM system to ensure it is updated, accurate, and effectively used for managing prospective student information.
    • Take ownership of agreed retention targets and ensure clarity in retention data and goals.
    • Develop a structured approach to retaining existing families by identifying at-risk families early and implementing tailored actions.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration).
  • Preferably multilingual (French and English required).
  • Familiarity with Geneva and international markets, demonstrating social and cultural knowledge.
  • Demonstrable experience in the commercial service sector, ideally within the educational sector and related to student recruitment and retention (though not mandatory).
  • Strong data management and analytical skills, with proficiency in technology for organizing and analyzing admissions data.
  • Experience managing a CRM system (HubSpot or Salesforce preferred).
  • Ability to communicate effectively and present information concisely and professionally.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong customer experience skills.
