Job Opportunity: Senior SAP CO Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP CO Solution Architect to support our end client's ongoing SAP ECC to S/4HANA bluefield transformation. The project is currently in the System Integration Testing (SIT) stage, with a strong emphasis on solution quality, testing, data migration, and go-live readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support SAP CO integration testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) preparation, and evaluate root causes.
• Validate S/4HANA CO solution design, including Margin Analysis (CO-PA), product costing, cost centers, internal orders, and allocations.
• Ensure seamless integration with FI, MM, SD, and PP modules.
• Support bluefield data migration, validation, and reconciliation.
• Act as the client-side CO design authority, reviewing and challenging implementation partner solutions.
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, fit-to-standard, and clean-core principles.
• Support cutover, go-live preparation, hypercare, and knowledge transfer.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of SAP CO experience and at least 2 end-to-end S/4HANA implementations or migrations.
• Strong hands-on expertise in S/4HANA CO Customizing, margin analysis, and universal journal (ACDOCA).
• Experience with selective data transition and bluefield migrations.
• Proven experience in SIT, UAT, defect management, cutover, and hypercare activities.
• Strong knowledge of CO integration with FI, MM, SD, and PP.
• Experience managing and quality-assuring external implementation partners.

Project Details:

• Start: November
• Duration: 6+ months, with the option to extend
• Workload: 4-5 days per week
• Location: Remote, with occasional 10% on-site presence in Basel or other European locations
• Language: English
