SAP Analyst (FICO) - 8 Month Contract Role - Hybrid - Coventry, UK

RED now has an exciting opportunity for an SAP Analyst to join one of our key partners for an S/4HANA upgrade to RISE. This initial contract will last for 8 months, with the possibility of extension. The role is full-time and is expected to begin in October. It will be hybrid, requiring 2 days per week on-site in Coventry, UK.

Role Responsibilities

As an SAP Analyst, you will provide functional analysis and application support within an S/4HANA environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing incidents, defects, and minor changes while collaborating closely with business users and external SI.
• Supporting UAT and integration testing, as well as change and release activities.
• Coordinating third-party SAP delivery, with active involvement in the S/4HANA upgrade and migration to RISE.

This role does not involve hands-on configuration but requires a strong understanding of FI-CA functional knowledge to analyze issues, support solutions, and effectively manage the SI through delivery.

Desired Skills

• 5+ years of experience with SAP FICO.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP FI-CA.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Functional analysis and solution support experience.
• Experience with root cause analysis.
• Ability to manage incidents, defects, and problem tickets through to resolution.
• Stakeholder management experience.
• Experience coordinating minor changes and enhancements.
• Experience supporting UAT and integration testing.
• Experience with change, release, and maintenance activities.
• Experience with S/4HANA upgrades / RISE migration is an advantage.
• A strong understanding of integrated SAP environments.
