Our Zurich office operates like a start-up, fostering a close-knit team of around 10 colleagues who support over 50 consultants on assignment each month throughout the region. As we continue to grow in German-speaking Switzerland, we're seeking a Sales Team Manager to join our dynamic team.

Work Tasks

We are looking for a people-focused, results-driven sales team manager who is prepared to manage both team dynamics and sales strategies. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our office culture, ensuring client success, and promoting overall growth.

As a Team Manager

You will coach and lead a team of Account Managers, being responsible for their success and development. Your focus will be on people management, team performance, and local growth.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supporting a team of Account Managers through regular performance reviews and face-to-face meetings.
  • Recruiting new team members while fostering a strong sales culture.
  • Inspiring your team to achieve our ultimate goal: client satisfaction!
  • Collaborating with local leadership to grow our Zurich office and refine our operational methodologies.

As a Sales Manager

You will act as the right hand to the Branch Manager concerning sales performance, strategy, and processes.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Account Managers in client meetings and assisting in identifying new business opportunities.
  • Tracking sales KPIs and partnering with the Branch Manager for process alignment.
  • Designing tailored development plans for Account Managers.
  • Organizing and leading training and onboarding initiatives for new hires.
  • Analyzing client portfolios, market trends, and sales data to inform strategic decisions.

We Are Looking For

We don't require over 20 years of experience—rather, we seek someone who has already demonstrated solid results in B2B sales and team leadership, and is ready to take on new challenges.

We believe you will thrive if you have:

  • A proven and successful experience in B2B sales.
  • Experience managing or mentoring others in a sales environment.
  • A hands-on mindset along with a passion for coaching and developing people.
  • Fluent German (spoken and written), along with strong English (C1 level).
  • Excellent communication skills and a desire to cultivate strong, long-term client relationships.
  • A leadership style that is inspiring, structured, and energetic.
