Your Role and Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for order processing within the spare parts department of our Service division, located in Baden, Switzerland. This role reports to the Head of Order Fulfillment & Project Management.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Providing international service center support, with communication in English and German (fluent German is a must; proficiency in other languages is a plus)
- Technical and commercial order processing using our IT processing system (SAP)
- Preparing and following up on quotations
- Processing e-business transactions, including purchase orders, order confirmations, and invoices
- Coordinating with logistics and the workshop regarding the delivery of materials
- Creating export and transit documents in our electronic customs processing system (SAP GTS)
- Providing shipping documents and assigning transport orders to freight forwarders
- Invoicing shipments and generating credit/debit notes
- Monitoring accounts receivable and supporting accounting with dunning processes
- Managing letters of credit in collaboration with the finance department
- Handling customer complaints, freight forwarder claims, and insurance cases (e.g., transport damage, lost shipments, delays)
- Organizing and monitoring return shipments
- Conducting independent process control (e.g., monitoring inventory, invoicing deliveries, managing missing parts)
- Ensuring continuous process improvement
- Participating in on-call duty (approximately 6 times per year, each for 1 week, available 24/7)
Your Background
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Commercial or technical apprenticeship with additional training in a commercial field
- Several years of professional experience
- Strong interest in technology, particularly turbochargers
- Fluent in English and German
- Good knowledge of SAP (SD-Module) and MS-Office
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- A strong sense of responsibility and commitment
- Effective communication skills and a focus on customer orientation
- Flexibility and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Willingness to perform emergency service according to the operation schedule
