The Role: Sales Operations Analyst

This position is integral to our global Sales teams and requires close collaboration with internal partners, including Finance, IT, Legal, and Marketing. Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, this role is part of the Sales department located on-site in Basel, Switzerland or Lexington, MA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Commission Management: Calculate sales commissions and lead initiatives to automate and streamline the commission process.
  • Sales Forecast & CRM Data Management: Ensure the accuracy of sales forecasts and maintain CRM data integrity through regular audits and updates.
  • Process Compliance: Oversee adherence to sales processes, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Report and Dashboard Management: Create and update CRM reports and dashboards to provide visibility into performance metrics.
  • Sales Tools Leadership: Champion sales tools by updating documentation, conducting training sessions, and offering ongoing user support.
  • Support and Assistance: Address inquiries from the sales team and other departments, creating a supportive environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Test new CRM functionalities before deployment to meet production standards.

Essential Requirements

  • Educational Background: A relevant university degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Sales Commission Expertise: Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing sales commission processes, including interpreting compensation plans and ensuring accurate payouts.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in working with numbers and sales analytics.
  • Operational Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English.
  • Personal Attributes: Highly organized, accountable, proactive, effective communicator, and a strong team player.

Additional Qualifications (Optional)

  • Familiarity with commission software.
  • Experience with configuring dashboards in PowerBI.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.
  • Background in sales.
