Your Role: Sales Engineer for Genedata Profiler

As a Sales Engineer for Genedata Profiler, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales success by providing expert technical support and guidance throughout the sales process. Your primary goal will be to connect our innovative data integration and analytics platform with the specific needs of clients in the precision medicine sector. You will work closely with sales, scientific, product, and development teams to design tailored solutions, facilitate onboarding, conduct pilots, deliver engaging demos, and lead discovery sessions to help both our clients and sales achieve their objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales cycle, including post-sales implementation.
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments and present customized solutions to healthcare providers.
  • Showcase the capabilities and value of Genedata Profiler through impactful presentations and product demos.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and success.
  • Advise and collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and scientific teams to expand market reach and shape the product roadmap.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in precision medicine and data analytics.

Essential Requirements

  • MSc or PhD in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related fields, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
  • Over 2 years of relevant experience in sales or data science within the software, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Proficient in data ingestion, integration, and analysis processes, particularly with pharmaceutical R&D data (experience with clinical trial data is a plus).
  • Competent in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Familiarity with AI and advanced analytics supporting precision medicine initiatives.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including data scientists, IT professionals, and biologists.
  • Fluent in English, possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills.
