Your Role as a Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer for Genedata Profiler, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our sales efforts by providing expert technical support and guidance throughout the sales process. Your primary objective will be to bridge the gap between our innovative data integration and analytics platform and the unique needs of our clients in the precision medicine sector.

You will closely collaborate with the sales, scientific, product, and development teams to design tailored solutions, conduct pilots, facilitate onboarding, deliver compelling demonstrations, and lead discovery sessions to ensure that both our clients and sales teams achieve their objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales cycle, including post-sales implementation.
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments and present customized solutions to healthcare providers.
  • Demonstrate the capabilities and values of Genedata Profiler through presentations and product demos.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and success.
  • Advise and collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and scientific teams to expand the market and shape the product roadmap.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in precision medicine and data analytics.

Essential Requirements

  • MSc or PhD in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related fields, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
  • Over 2 years of relevant experience in sales or data science within the software, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Proficient in data ingestion, integration, and analysis processes, particularly with pharmaceutical R&D data (experience with clinical trial data is a plus).
  • Competent in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Familiar with AI and advanced analytics to support precision medicine initiatives.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including data scientists, IT professionals, and biologists.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
