Sales Engineer Opportunity

To support our growth, LMS is seeking talented and motivated Sales Engineers for our Baar, Switzerland office. You will work closely with our CEO and the CEO of North America to identify and qualify sales opportunities while understanding potential customer needs. Your contributions will help strengthen customer relationships and support our sales and marketing strategies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support lead sales executives in identifying new business opportunities with prospective and existing customers.
  • Organize and participate in sales meetings, and attend conferences, trade shows, and industry events to promote LMS products and services.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and presentations, provide pre-sales training, and address technical questions to help clients understand the advantages of our offerings.
  • Assess client requirements and manage the technical aspects of RFP/RFI responses and quotations while proposing customized technology solutions.
  • Liaise with support, software, and hardware engineers to address pre-sales customer technical requirements and communicate feedback to R&D teams.
  • Understand LMS products' technical features, functionalities, and documentation, including user manuals and product specifications.
  • Assist in training other sales team members on LMS products and help maintain sales literature.
  • Nurture existing client relationships to maximize recurring revenue and upsell applicable LMS products and services.
  • Ensure sales targets are met and assist in reviewing sales performance and return on investment.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate in creating and modeling sales strategies for both existing and future products and services.

Required Skills & Experience

  • At least two years of experience as a technology sales engineer or in a similar technical sales role.
  • A strong technical background with a deep understanding of FPGA-based hardware and embedded systems.
  • Excellent sales, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, capable of identifying customer needs and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, fostering rapport and relationships with both customers and colleagues.
  • Proven experience in providing expert technical advice to customers and effectively communicating client feedback internally.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Experience with sales methodologies and CRM systems.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are beneficial.
  • Experience creating technical content, such as whitepapers or technical blog posts.
