Role Overview: Sales Engineer for Genedata Profiler

As a Sales Engineer for Genedata Profiler, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our sales initiatives by providing expert technical support and guidance throughout the sales process. Your primary goal is to connect our innovative data integration and analytics platform with the distinct needs of our clients in the precision medicine sector. You will work closely with the sales, scientific, product, and development teams to create tailored solutions, conduct pilots, facilitate onboarding, deliver compelling demonstrations, and lead discovery sessions to ensure our clients and sales teams meet their objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and support about the product throughout the sales cycle, including post-sales implementation.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and present customized solutions to healthcare providers.
  • Demonstrate the capabilities and value of Genedata Profiler through engaging presentations and product demos.
  • Develop and nurture strong client relationships to ensure ongoing satisfaction and success.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and scientific teams to expand the market and shape the product roadmap.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in precision medicine and data analytics.

Essential Requirements

  • MSc or PhD in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related fields, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
  • Over 2 years of relevant experience in sales or data science within the software, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Proficient in data ingestion, integration, and analysis processes, particularly with pharmaceutical R&D data (experience with clinical trial data is a plus).
  • Competent in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Familiarity with AI and advanced analytics to support precision medicine initiatives.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including data scientists, IT professionals, and biologists.
  • Fluent in English, with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
