Sales Consultant Orthopaedics / Trauma

Location: German-speaking part of Switzerland

We are seeking a strong, customer-focused, and communicative personality to join us as a Sales Consultant Trauma. As a proven specialist with a strong sales mindset, you will serve as the key point of contact for orthopaedic and trauma surgeons, OR managers, and operating room staff in hospitals and clinics. In this central role, you will coordinate, organize, and ensure the correct utilization of our high-quality, innovative products. You will proactively identify new business opportunities, drive their execution, and manage corresponding sales projects within your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive sales and product advice in the clinical field of orthopaedics/trauma.
  • Systematically plan and organize your own field service activities.
  • Build long-term customer relationships with physicians, operating room staff, buyers, and other decision-makers.
  • Strengthen existing product lines and introduce product innovations.
  • Organize and implement further training events (workshops, customer training) for medical professionals.
  • Be responsible for achieving general and specific sales targets in terms of market penetration and sales.
  • Develop and implement sales and action plans in cooperation with the sales manager for your assigned area.
  • Represent the business unit at congresses.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of sales experience, ideally in the medical device sector.
  • Clear sales-driven mindset with excellent execution skills and professional presence.
  • Customer-oriented personality with a strong results orientation.
  • Strong negotiation skills and confidence in closing deals.
  • Determination, self-motivation, and a willingness to perform.
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills.
  • High flexibility with a willingness to travel in your region.
  • Creativity and openness to change.
  • Independent, integrity, dynamic, resilient, and entrepreneurial personality.
  • Fluency in German and English, with sound MS Office skills.
