Main Duties and Responsibilities

Safety

- Assist in the administration, collection, investigation, and analysis of data in the occurrence reporting database.

- Support the monitoring and management of the hazard identification and risk management database.

- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System (SMS) and Emergency Response Plan (ERP).

- Monitor and advise on all SFS safety activities that may impact safety and operations.

- Keep track of industry flight standards and safety concerns affecting SFS operations.

- Develop and produce internal "Safety Is Our Business" information bulletins.

- Create and conduct safety surveys, SMS internal audits, and inspections.

- Prepare and process the collection and analysis of data for the Lessons Learned database.

- Assist in the development, monitoring, and promotion of a safety culture within the company.

- Provide practical training for Centrik on iPads for new pilots.

- Manage the FRAT application, including the manual, statistical analysis, and communication with the FRAT office.

Compliance

- Assist with the verification of compliance, primarily through audit and inspection processes.

- Support the editing of audit and inspection procedures, along with related documents.

- Participate in identifying the scope and area of audits and inspections, including related checklists.

- Assist in maintaining and implementing the program schedule (e.g., audit schedule).

- Support the establishment and management of follow-up and corrective actions.

- Help manage compliance monitoring records and archives.

- Contribute to the continuous review, maintenance, and improvement of the Compliance Monitoring Program.

- Assist in monitoring compliance with established procedures.

- Act as a change coordinator for regulatory, organizational, technical, or procedural changes.

Competencies and Profile

  • Operational experience as a flight crew member (required); knowledge of airworthiness aspects is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of International/EASA Civil Aviation Regulations, including Swiss Air Law.
  • Expertise in auditing, project management, change management, or quality system management (preferable).
  • Excellent diplomacy and communication skills, maintaining strict confidentiality in verbal and written communication.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; solution-oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficient user of MS Office Suite.
  • Fluency in French and English; proficiency in other European languages is an asset.
  • Excellent reputation with a clean criminal record and extract from the debt collection register.
  • Based in the Neuchâtel canton or willing to relocate.
  • Swiss or European Citizen.
