MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

SAFETY

  • Assist in the administration, collection, investigation, and analysis of data in the occurrence reporting database.
  • Support the monitoring and management of the hazard identification and risk management database.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System (SMS) and Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
  • Monitor and advise on all safety activities within SFS that may impact safety.
  • Track industry flight standards and safety concerns that may affect SFS operations.
  • Develop and produce internal "Safety Is Our Business" information bulletins.
  • Design and conduct safety surveys, as well as internal audits and inspections of the SMS.
  • Prepare and process collection and analysis of data for the Lessons Learned database.
  • Assist in the development, monitoring, and promotion of a safety culture within the company.
  • Conduct practical training for Centrik on iPads for new pilots.
  • Manage the FRAT application, including manuals, statistical analysis, and communication with the FRAT office.

COMPLIANCE

  • Assist with the verification of compliance, primarily through auditing and inspection processes.
  • Support the editing of audit and inspection procedures, including related documents.
  • Participate in defining the scope and areas of audits and inspections, including the development of related checklists.
  • Assist in maintaining and implementing the audit schedule.
  • Contribute to establishing and managing follow-up and corrective actions.
  • Help manage records and archives related to compliance monitoring.
  • Contribute to the continuous review, maintenance, and improvement of the Compliance Monitoring Program.
  • Assist in monitoring adherence to established procedures.
  • Act as a change coordinator for regulatory, organizational, technical, or procedural changes.

COMPETENCIES AND PROFILE

  • Operational experience as a flight crew member (required), with knowledge of airworthiness aspects being an asset.
  • Working knowledge of International and EASA Civil Aviation Regulations, including Swiss Air Law.
  • Preferable expertise in Auditing, Project Management, Change Management, or Quality System Management.
  • Excellent diplomacy and communication skills, maintaining strict confidentiality in both verbal and written communication.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solution-oriented approach; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Fluency in both French and English; additional European language skills are an asset.
  • Good reputation, with a clean criminal record and extract from the debt collection register.
  • Based in Neuchâtel canton or willing to relocate.
  • Swiss or European Citizen.
