Your Responsibilities
- Oversee robotics and associated processes, including support processes thereof.
- Define standardized repair processes to meet applicable quality and compliance standards of OEM, customers, internal processes, and state-of-the-art technologies.
- Systematically interpret production drawings and OEM procedures, ensuring compliance with established requirements.
- Define and certify equivalent alternative consumable materials and/or processes related to thermal spray.
- Conduct continuous improvement of processes using Safety, Lean, Quality, and Engineering tools (like Kaizen Events, SPC, FPY, OEE, and Problem Solving Methods) to enhance SQDCP for our customers.
- Provide coaching and training to operations colleagues, ensuring best-in-class programming and process principles.
- Support root cause analysis and coordinate subsequent engineering-related tasks for assigned fields.
- Assist with industrialization projects according to plan (SQDCP) and define mitigations when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Repair Engineering, Tooling Engineering, and Shop Engineering.
Your Profile
- Hands-on experience operating and developing robotics programs, utilizing offline technologies for Plasma Spray, Arc-Wire Spraying, HVOF Spraying, Shot Peening, and 3D Scanning Technologies.
- Proven experience creating programs on 6-axis robotic equipment and offline simulation tools (e.g., ABB, Kuka, FANUC).
- Experience in Industrial Manufacturing and Aerospace MRO business.
- A proactive, positive, and flexible character with a strong execution mentality, capable of working autonomously and within teams on complex tasks.
- Strong safety, quality, delivery, and cost awareness.
- Experience in project management, lean, and quality methodologies.
- 3-5+ years of programming experience.
- Fluency in English (Level C1); proficiency in German (Level B1) is an advantage.
- A scientific/technical degree (MSc or BSc) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in similar industries.
