Your Responsibilities
- Oversee robotics and associated processes, including relevant support processes.
- Define standardized repair processes that align with applicable quality and compliance standards set by OEMs and customers, adhering to state-of-the-art technologies.
- Systematically interpret production drawings and OEM procedures, understanding the requirements for process compliance.
- Define and certify equivalent alternative consumable materials and processes related to thermal spray.
- Drive continuous improvement of processes using safety, lean, quality, and engineering tools such as Kaizen Events, SPC, FPY, OEE, and problem-solving methods, improving SQDCP for our customers.
- Provide coaching and training to operational colleagues as necessary, ensuring adherence to best-in-class programming and process principles.
- Support root cause analysis and coordinate related engineering tasks in assigned fields.
- Assist in industrialization projects following a defined plan (SQDCP) and propose mitigations as needed, supporting the industrialization of new repairs and the renewal of existing repairs.
- Closely collaborate with Operations, Repair Engineering, Tooling Engineering, and Shop Engineering.
Your Profile
- Hands-on experience in operating and developing robotics programs and utilizing offline technologies (Plasma Spray, Arc-Wire Spraying, HVOF Spraying, Shot Peening, and 3D Scanning Technologies).
- Proven experience creating programs on 6-axis robot equipment and offline simulation tools (e.g., ABB, Kuka, FANUC).
- Experience in industrial manufacturing and the aerospace MRO business.
- A proactive, positive, and flexible character with a strong execution mentality, capable of working autonomously and within teams on complex tasks.
- High awareness of safety, quality, delivery, and costs.
- Experience in project management and familiarity with lean and quality methodologies.
- 3-5+ years of experience in programming areas.
- Fluent in English (C1 level); knowledge of German (B1 level) is a plus.
- A scientific/technical degree (MSc or BSc) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in similar industries.
