Position: Robotics Machine Learning Intern

As a Robotics Machine Learning Intern, you will play a crucial role in the development and design of our future robotic systems. Your contributions will help define the quality and features of our algorithms. With your innovative mindset and project experience, you will bring fresh ideas and creative approaches to the evolution of underwater robotics.

Collaborating closely with our R&D team, you will be a key driver in enhancing and advancing robotic functionalities, transforming pioneering concepts into reality.

Your Contribution

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for:

• Designing and implementing higher-level algorithms on top of existing networks using sonar imaging.
• Testing, analyzing, and proposing improvements for the networks and implementing them.
• Making pioneering algorithms for sonar perception ready for deployment and conducting tests.

Your Profile

To excel in this role as a ML-focused robotics engineer, you should possess:

• A master's degree in data science, computer science, robotics, electrical or software engineering (or currently pursuing).
• Hands-on experience in various robotic disciplines, including Machine Learning, Perception, and Localization.
• A collaborative spirit, thriving in the fast-paced environment of a startup.
• The ability to work independently while delivering high-quality results.
• A pragmatic approach, capable of making practical, solution-oriented decisions.
• A minimum internship period of 6 months is required.

Bonus Qualifications

Bonus points will be given for the following qualifications or experience:

• A proven track record in setting up software, operating systems, version control (e.g., GitHub), and designing robust project architectures.
• Evidence of holistic project management will be considered a strong asset.
