Position: Robotics Machine Learning Intern

As a Robotics Machine Learning Intern, you will play a crucial role in the development and design of our future robotic systems. Your contributions will help define the quality and features of our algorithms. With your innovative spirit and project experience, you will bring fresh ideas and novel approaches to advancing underwater robotic systems. Your background in robotic software will position you as a key contributor to enhancing and advancing robotic functionalities, as you collaborate closely with our R&D team to turn pioneering ideas into reality.

Your Contribution

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the following tasks:

• Designing and implementing higher-level algorithms based on existing networks using sonar imaging.
• Testing, analyzing, and proposing improvements to the networks and implementing them.
• Developing pioneering algorithms for sonar perception and preparing them for deployment and testing.

Qualifications

To excel in this role as an ML-focused robotics engineer, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Pursuing a master’s degree in data science, computer science, robotics, electrical, or software engineering.
• Hands-on experience with various robotic disciplines, including Machine Learning, Perception, and Localization.
• Collaborative spirit: A team player who thrives in the fast-paced environment of a startup.
• Independence: The ability to work autonomously while delivering high-quality results.
• Pragmatism: A proactive work attitude, capable of making practical, solution-oriented decisions.
• A minimum internship period of 6 months is required.

Bonus Points

Applicants with the following qualifications or experience will receive bonus points:

• Extensive experience in software setup, operating systems, version control (e.g., GitHub), and designing robust project architectures.
• Evidence of holistic project management will be considered a strong asset.
