We are looking for dedicated and skilled individuals to join our shop floor in our Piece Part Repair department at Zurich Airport. If this sounds appealing to you, we encourage you to apply online using the form below for the Robotic Welding Operator position.

As a Robotic Welding Operator, You Will:

  • Operate and monitor robotic welding systems for the repair and manufacturing of aviation components.
  • Perform welding tasks according to approved repair data, work instructions, and technical drawings.
  • Ensure full compliance with aviation quality, safety, and documentation requirements.
  • Set up and adjust fixtures, tools, and programs for different component types.
  • Identify process deviations early, perform basic troubleshooting, and escalate issues when needed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities (e.g., reducing rework and scrap, supporting lean and 5S initiatives).

Your Profile

  • Completed vocational training in welding, metalworking, mechanics, or mechatronics.
  • Experience with robotic or automated welding processes.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals.
  • Strong focus on quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Ideally, experience in aviation, MRO, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with industrial robots is an advantage.
  • Structured, detail-oriented working style with good teamwork and communication skills.
  • English language skills at B1 level required; German is a plus.
