Part-Time Restaurant Service Position
We are a small, family-owned Taiwanese restaurant located in Kreis 4, Zurich. Since our establishment in July 2021, we have built a loyal following based on the novelty, variety, and quality of our food and service. Each meal is crafted individually with care, ensuring an exceptional dining experience. We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our restaurant service team as soon as possible.
Your Tasks
- Prepare the restaurant to receive guests (cleaning and setting tables)
- Welcome guests, provide guidance, answer questions, and take orders
- Serve food to tables
- Prepare drinks and desserts
- Manage online takeaway orders and reservations
- Maintain stock and inventory alongside co-workers
- Organize and clean work areas, fridges, and freezers in accordance with HACCP guidelines
Your Profile
- Living in or near Zurich, Kreis 4
- A happy, friendly, and outgoing attitude
- Reliable and hard-working, with a willingness to learn and collaborate with team members, while remaining calm and focused under pressure
- Intermediate communication skills in English (reading and speaking) are essential; proficiency in Mandarin and/or German is a plus
- Knowledge of Taiwanese cuisine is preferred
- Previous experience is an advantage
Offer
- Starting immediately
- Workload of 30-50%, with potential for more. We are open for lunch on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10:30 to 14:00, and on Tuesday to Sunday evenings from 17:00 to 22:30.
- Hourly wage contract following L-GAV guidelines
- On-the-job training provided
